Unit at kuriyana stay is built keeping comfort and modern adaptation of traditional techniques in mind. We took inspiration from the traditional "kath-khuni" method and added our take on it. Rooms at kuriyana stay have been built using Himalayan cedar also known as "deodar". Flooring is also done with natural stone, This makes rooms warm and comfortable inside with a scent that is unique to deodar.

We have specifically planned kuriyana stay experience for cozy family vocations, a lively get-together of friends or couples on a romantic getaway. The two room sets are spacious with large windows to let in natural light and give a sense of openness. Both rooms include king size beds and a set of table and chair so you can sip on your tea while watching a sunset. Both rooms have oil heaters and a fireplace to keep it warm.

Large windows all around you giving you a nice view of forests while you read a book or listen to your favourite music under a thick blanket.

Things to know before booking

Check-In and Check-Out:

Check-In Time : After 2 PM & Before 5 PM

Check-Out Time : Before 10 AM

Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization required at the villa, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.

House Rules:

Outside food is not allowed in the villa.

Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission.

Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay.

Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed.

We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.

Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits.

Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.

Smoking within the villa/rooms is prohibited.

The pool (if present) is unguarded. There is no lifeguard on site. Children in the pool must be accompanied by adults at all times.

Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.

As required by law, every guest above 18 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.

Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.

About the Property:

Caretaker Dharam will tend to all your needs while you stay at the cottage. Furthermore, a housekeeping and cleaning staff will be available at your convenience. For your untimely cravings, an in-house chef will whip up the most savoury dishes.

4 cars can be parked on the property free of additional charges while driver’s accommodation is provided.

Various amenities such as a kids’ play area, dining space, bonfire and BBQ is available at the property.

2 guests can occupy each bedroom while we have one extra mattress available to be placed in either of the room at an additional cost.

The network in this area is a bit patchy and the wifi dongle on the property has fair connectivity.

The approach road is a bit rocky therefore travelling in an SUV is recommended, else pick and drop services can be provided from mall road to the villa at additional charges on prior intimation.

To light the fireplace in the common area, an additional charge of Rs 400 would be charged per refill.

Outdoor Bonfire will be charged at 1000/-. Refills will be for 400/-

A boon to nature and spiritual lovers, a trek to the Jwala Devi temple will offer you thick forest trails and tranquillity, just a 3-hour drive away.

Set out with your camera to explore and capture the most scenic hiking trails at the Kempty Waterfall hike, merely an hour’s drive away.

Engage in an offbeat paragliding experience, taking in the great panoramic view of the valley from the top at Paragliding and View Point, just a couple of hours away.

Mussoorie has a lot in store for the adrenaline junkies. Indulge in the thrilling adventures of river rafting at Rishikesh, less than a three-hour drive away.

Visit Mall Road - the central hub to explore various restaurants, shops and establishments, just a little more than a half-hour drive away.

Cancellation Charges / Policy:

Cancellation before 1 week of check-in date: 5% of booking amount.

Cancellation within 1 week of check-in date: 20% of booking amount.

Upon cancellation refund will be processed in 3-5 business days.

Food in northern belt is cooked according to the season and uses many ingredients that is unique to the Indian cold climate. At Kuriyana Stay we serve simple and healthy home cooked food. A typical meal would consist of home grown pulses with rice and greens, chapatis, ghee and chutney. If you're non-vegetarian then our meat dishes will leave you licking your fingers after the meal because of its flavorful and exotic appeal.

Some Interesting cuisines include chutney made from bhang seeds, cake made from a pulp of chuloo fruit & Jam made from viscous pulp of (Plum, Kafal, Honey and Hesar). Variety of cuisines is diverse and stimulating to say the least.
